26th National Tournament 2082 The 26th National Tournament 2082 stands as a landmark event in the Nepalese pigeon-keeping calendar, organized by the Nepal Pigeon Flying Sports Association.
This edition of the national competition featured a highly structured format, moving from intense group stages into a prestigious "Super Six" final round. Tournament Structure & Highlights Group Phase (Samuha): The competition began with multiple qualifying groups (including Groups Ka through Cha). Participants from key regions such as Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Thimi, and Banepa competed across various dates in Baishak and Jestha 2082 BS. 
The Super Six: The top-performing fanciers from the group stages advanced to the final "Super Six" rounds. This final phase consisted of two major flight days—the First Super Six (held on Jestha 10) and the Second Super Six (held on Jestha 13)—to determine the ultimate national rankings. Performance Metrics: Rankings were calculated based on cumulative flight scores (hours and minutes). 
The tournament showcased exceptional endurance, with top entries recording combined flight times exceeding 50 hours across the final stages. 
Outstanding Pigeon (Utkrist Parewa): Beyond the overall loft rankings, the tournament specifically recognized individual bird performance. The "Best Pigeon" of the tournament was honored for achieving a remarkable single-flight duration of 11 hours and 38 minutes.
